World Vision
My daughter, 11, has been whining for awhile she wants a ’sister’
well that is NOT happening because of well many reasons LOL
BUT, the next best thing happened!
I went to http://www.worldvision.com and ‘adopted’ a girl from Columbia from the site!!
my daughter viewed all the girls and picked this adorable 11 yr old (same age as her) and picked Columbia as the country because she has friends she goes to school with here that are from there and thought that’d be ‘cool’
this girl is soooo sweet looking and it’s amazing what a measly $30/month can do over there!
Plus, I ‘think’ they send a packet to us where we can write her and send other care items and then the world vision rep distributes to the family
Before I could even finish the online thing doing it last night my daughter was on phone and IM’ing her friends saying she had a new ’sister’ in Columbia and went on and on for hours last night about it! she even missed most of American Idol to tell people about it that’s how excited she was!
just wanted to share that and perhaps some one here can bless a child in need as well… pray about it and if you’re led to, then do so
