    Eco Tuesday: Visit State Parks

Did you know that most state parks only have a nominal fee to enter, much more affordable than an amusement or theme park.

You don’t have to drive far (usually) to get to a State Park. You can check for nearby state parks by usually visiting your State’s web site or go to Google and put in “your state” State Parks (ie: FL State Parks) and you’ll be amazed at what can be practically in your own back yard.

Play tourist in your local area, experience nature, share it with your family and friends. Enjoy.

You often times can also find eco tours in your state as well. These can range from nature walk to kayaking, hiking in local areas where they point out eco aspects and help you understand and appreciate the local environment even more.

So, this summer stick close to home and enjoy all your local parks.

Yes , and share your photos with friends on the internet too! Add them to web sites as your own content. Place a link to the park even.

I am on the inside edge of “Ding Darling,” on Sanibel, and think more people need to share the experience by camera so others are encouraged to visit and help protect the parks and ALL the amazing wildlife.
